What do Austin homeowners say about our window cleaning?
Customers rate Casa Care 5.0 stars across 208 Google reviews. Here are ten about home window cleaning, quoted exactly as written.
“We are preparing to list my house for sale, and at the direction of my listing agents, got several quotes to clean the 34 windows on my 112-year-old, two-story house. Casa Care responded right away and was at my house within an hour to give a quote. Casa Care was the only company who came out to give a quote in-person, and while this alone would’ve been enough to make me choose them, Ethan’s friendly nature and willingness to walk me through the whole process solidified our decision to move forward. Scheduling was easy and they were quick to respond when I reached out a few days in advance to confirm our appointment. Ethan and his crew did an exceptional job at cleaning up our single-pane windows that maybe haven’t been cleaned in my 36 years on earth lol, and took extra time to ensure that my husband and I were satisfied with the result—even offering to return if our listing agents had any concerns (they won’t- they look amazing!) Overall this was a wonderful experience and a company I’m very glad to have been able to support. We will readily recommend them to others and keep their info handy for whenever we need work done again!”
“We have lots of windows in our late ‘70’s Austin “treehouse”. We were in great need of a cleaning! Ethan offered us the best deal, and he responded the same day that I sent an inquiry. Ethan and his team were so efficient, and SO friendly! I highly recommend Casa Care for your home!
We will absolutely use their services again.”
“Ethan did an incredible job cleaning our windows. He’s the best window cleaner we’ve ever hired. He spent a lot of time and put in a lot of effort and our windows look fantastic. Highest recommendation!”
“Ethan and Joshua took incredible care of our windows. It’s amazing what clean windows can do for lighting and the integrity of the window. We’ll be using Casa Care exclusively from now on.”
“Ethan is great! I use him for regular window cleaning for my listings and he can take care of my Xmas lights too! He’s responsive and communicative!”
“I called Casa Care for window cleaning. I’ve had experience with a handful of local cleaners but hands down, they’ve been my best experience.
They did an absolutely phenomenal job! It was like a detailing service for my windows. Ethan was on time, professional, personal, and did excellent work. Once he was done, we walked around the house to make sure I was satisfied with everything. I was impressed by the attention to detail shown. Additionally, he let me know Casa Care also sets up holiday lights.
I’ll definitely be calling them for holiday season and try their other services. I’d recommend their services for anyone that needs an honest job completed the right way!”
“These guys came out and cleaned the windows at my house last week. They did a great job! I knew my windows were dirty but I didn’t realize how dirty they were until I saw how clean Ethan and Joey from Casa Care made them. It was like looking through a brand new piece of glass.
They did such a good job that a passing motorist stopped to stare at my the house. That part was kind of awkward because I’m sure they could see me staring at them while they stared at me.
In all seriousness, I would highly recommend Casa Care. They were on time, professional, and respected my house (they wore shoe covers when they came inside to clean the inside of the windows).”
“Casa Care Property services came out to our home and cleaned our 40+ windows.
We were extremely impressed with Ethan and his ability to provide knowledge of the solutions he was using, his methods, and the timeline.
Without hesitation we will be using ETHAN GIBBS for our future window maintenance.
Ethan also provides Christmas Light services.”
“The Casa Care team washed the windows quickly with great attention to detail and service. The guys were extremely professional and easy to work with, and they really listened to my concerns about the second floor windows in the back yard. The owner was especially meticulous about the level of service his team provided. 10/10, would highly recommend! 🏆”
“Ethan and Joe are an exceptional Window cleaning team. Windows in my new house were so dirty, I thought they were damaged. After Casa Care service was completed, my windows sparkled. They went above and beyond to clean wasps from exterior window frames. They even cleaned an interior ceiling fan. Can’t recommend their prompt, curious and efficient service enough.”

#1 Window Cleaning
for Austin, TX Homes
You stop noticing dirty windows — until the afternoon sun hits them and every streak, water spot, and pollen film is suddenly on display. Left alone, that build-up does more than dull your view: hard-water minerals and grime slowly etch into the glass, and the longer they sit baking in the Texas heat, the harder and more expensive they are to undo.
A quick pass with a spray bottle and paper towels just moves the film around — it never lifts the bonded minerals underneath — and balancing on a ladder to reach second-story glass is how a Saturday ends in the ER. Professional window cleaning gets the whole window genuinely clean, safely, and keeps it that way.
That’s where Casa Care Window Cleaning comes in. We’re the Austin crew homeowners name by name in their reviews — a 5.0 rating across 208 cleanings and counting. Booking us means the whole window: interior panes hand-detailed, exteriors rinsed spot-free with purified water, and the screens, tracks, and sills most crews skip. See a streak within 7 days? We’re back to fix it free. Want the whole exterior handled in one trip? Add a driveway cleaning or concrete cleaning and we’ll knock it all out at once.
Types of Windows We Clean
From historic divided-light windows to modern floor-to-ceiling glass, our team cleans every window style found on Austin homes — inside and out.

Every Window Style, Cleaned the Right Way
No two windows are cleaned quite the same way. We match the method to the window — a purified water-fed pole for modern picture glass, patient hand-detailing for divided-light sashes — so you get a flawless finish without scratched glass, blown seals, or water in the frame.
- Single- and double-hung
- Casement

How we clean each window style
No two windows are cleaned quite the same way. A modern picture window rinses clean with a purified water-fed pole, while a 1920s divided-light sash needs patient hand-detailing around every muntin. At Casa Care Window Cleaning in Austin, TX, we match the method to the window so you get a flawless finish without scratched glass, blown seals, or water in the frame.
We regularly clean single- and double-hung, casement, picture, bay and bow, and awning windows, plus French doors, sliding glass doors, transoms, and skylights. Divided-light and true-grille windows get detailed by hand, pane by pane.
Every job includes the parts other cleaners skip: screens removed and hand-washed, tracks vacuumed and wiped free of grit and dead bugs, and sills detailed so the whole window looks finished. Exteriors are rinsed with spot-free deionized water — no soap film to attract dust next week.
For glass marred by hard-water spots or sprinkler overspray, we add a mineral-restoration treatment that dissolves calcium and lime buildup ordinary washing leaves behind. If rain spoils the exterior glass within 7 days, we come back and re-clean it free — that’s our Casa Care rain guarantee.
Why Austin Is Especially Hard on Your Windows
Central Texas puts a specific kind of wear on residential glass. Knowing what you’re up against is half of keeping it clear — here’s what we see on Austin homes.
Sprinkler Overspray Etches Glass
Austin sits on limestone, and our water carries heavy calcium and magnesium. When a sprinkler head mists a ground-floor window — or hard water dries on the glass in the sun — it leaves mineral spots that bond to the surface. Left for months, they begin to etch the glass permanently, which is why early removal matters.
Cedar, Oak & Ragweed Film
Central Texas has one of the longest pollen calendars in the country: mountain cedar peaks December through February, live-oak pollen coats everything March into April, and ragweed returns in fall. That fine yellow-green film settles on screens and glass and turns to grime the first time it gets damp.
UV Bakes Spots On
Long, intense summers mean south- and west-facing windows take relentless UV. Heat flash-dries water and dissolved minerals onto the pane before they can be wiped, and it hardens pollen and dust into a film that ordinary cleaners just smear around. These exposures almost always need attention first.
This is why a quick DIY pass with a bottle of spray rarely lasts in Austin — it moves the film without removing the bonded minerals underneath. Our purified-water and mineral-restoration process lifts the deposits out of the glass, and a routine spring-and-fall schedule keeps them from ever getting a foothold.
Can hard-water spots always be removed from windows?
Usually, yes, as long as the minerals are still sitting on the glass. Fresh sprinkler spots come off in a normal cleaning, bonded deposits need our mineral-restoration treatment, and glass that has been etched for years can be improved but not always fully restored. We tell you which stage you’re looking at before any work starts.
Fresh spotsWeeks old
Light, chalky dots from a recent sprinkler cycle or a passing shower. They sit on top of the glass and come off with purified water and a careful hand clean, which is all part of a standard visit.
Bonded depositsMonths old
After a summer of overspray, calcium and lime harden into a crust that a squeegee glides right over. This is where the dedicated mineral-restoration treatment comes in: it dissolves the buildup instead of scraping at it.
EtchingYears old
Minerals left long enough start to pit the surface of the glass itself. Treatment usually makes a visible difference, but the pitting is in the glass, so some haze can remain. We would rather set that expectation up front than promise what nobody can deliver.
Keeping it from coming backPrevention
Turn sprinkler heads so they water the beds instead of the lower panes, run irrigation early in the morning, and book a cleaning before spots have a whole season to bake on. South- and west-facing glass shows spots first in Austin’s afternoon sun.
Hard-water staining shows up most on ground-floor windows near sprinklers, and it’s also the problem most often made worse by DIY fixes. Abrasive pads and the wrong blade can scratch tempered or coated glass, and vinegar soaks rarely touch deposits that have bonded. Our guide on how to remove hard-water stains from windows goes deeper on what works at home and when it’s time for a professional treatment.

How should you get ready for a window cleaning?
Very little prep is needed, and none at all if we’re only cleaning the outside. For an inside-and-out visit, clearing the sills and giving us a way in is the main thing. We handle screens, tracks and floor protection ourselves.
Clear the sillsInside
Picture frames, plants and keepsakes on interior sills are easier for you to move than for us. If something is too heavy or fragile to move, leave it and we’ll work around it.
Point out the tricky windowsHeads-up
Painted-shut sashes, cracked panes, fragile blinds or plantation shutters, and any window with a broken lock are worth mentioning when you book. We flag the same things during the quote.
Gates, pets and accessOutside
Unlock side gates, put pets inside for the exterior, and share a door code, lockbox or smart-lock invite if you won’t be home for the interior.
Leave the screens to usIncluded
Screens come down, get hand-washed, and go back up as part of the job. There’s no need to pull them yourself, and a bent screen frame is easier to avoid when the people who reinstall it also removed it.
On arrival the crew puts on shoe covers, lays drop towels along the sills and keeps water away from frames, floors and window treatments. If you’re home, we’ll walk through the plan with you first. If you’re not, you’ll get updates by text and a digital invoice once the walkthrough is done.
What happens when you book a window cleaning?
Six steps, from a 60-second quote to a pane-by-pane walkthrough. You see your price online, we protect your home, detail the inside, rinse the outside with purified water, finish the screens and tracks, and invoice only after you’ve seen the glass.
Initial contact & estimate About 60 seconds
Enter your window count and number of stories in the quote tool, or text a couple of photos. We confirm the price and point out anything that needs a closer look, like hard-water spotting, painted-shut sashes or delicate divided-light glass.
Arrival & interior protection On-the-way text
You’ll get a text when we’re on the way. At the door we introduce ourselves, put on shoe covers, lay drop towels along the sills and make room around furniture, then go over the plan with you before any water touches the glass.
Interior window detailing Inside
Each pane is hand-cleaned with microfiber and a squeegee, working corner to corner and wiping the edges most cleaners miss, while water stays off frames, floors and window treatments.
Exterior purified-water cleaning Outside
A deionized water-fed pole scrubs and rinses the outside glass, which dries spot-free. It reaches up to three stories from the ground, and when a window needs a ladder, we set it on the property, never against the glass. Hard-water spots get the mineral-restoration treatment before the final rinse.
Screens, tracks & walkthrough Before we leave
Washed screens go back in, tracks are wiped out and sills detailed. Then we walk the house with you pane by pane. If a spot shows up in a certain light, we re-clean it on the spot, at no charge.
Invoicing & payment After the walkthrough
Your digital invoice arrives by text or email once you’re happy. Pay by card, ACH, cash or check, with no deposit and no fees beyond the price we quoted.
How much does window cleaning cost in Austin?
Most Austin homes run around $350 for a full interior-and-exterior window cleaning. Your price comes from six things: pane count, stories and access, one side or both, window style, how much hard-water restoration the glass needs, and whether it’s a first visit or part of a plan. Use the checklist to see which way your home leans.
Full interior and exterior window cleaning. Always included:

What moves the price up or down
Number of panesBiggest factor
The single biggest factor. We price by window and pane count rather than a guess, and a compact bungalow and a five-bedroom home are very different jobs.
Stories & accessReach
Ground-floor glass is quickest. Second-story panes need a water-fed pole, and anything requiring lift equipment is quoted separately.
Interior + exteriorScope
Both sides cost more than exterior-only. Many two-story homes book exterior-only in summer and add interiors in the fall.
Window styleTime per pane
Modern picture and casement windows clean fast. Divided-light, true-grille and French-pane windows are detailed by hand and take longer.
Hard-water restorationTreatment
Standard cleaning is included. Heavy calcium and lime removal is an added treatment because it takes specialized product and time.
First-time vs. maintenancePlan discount
The first visit does the heavy lifting. On a spring-and-fall or quarterly plan, each recurring visit is discounted 10–20%.
We quote a firm number for your home, not a broad range, so the price you approve is the price on the invoice. The instant quote tool takes about 60 seconds, with no phone call needed. For a deeper breakdown, read how much window cleaning costs in Austin.
Adding a gutter cleaning or house wash to the same visit takes care of the whole exterior in one trip.
Meet the Team Behind Casa Care
Ethan Gibbs started Casa Care Window Cleaning in 2024, and from the first exterior rinse the aim was larger than spotless glass: to earn back respect for the blue-collar trades. That means building trust with one Austin household at a time and giving the people who do the work a real future, with mentorship, a career path and a team that shows up for the community.
Respect for the Trade
Window cleaning is a craft, and we treat it like one. The crew arrives on time and in uniform, protects your floors with shoe covers and drop towels, and treats your home and each other with respect.
Trust You Can See
Purified water outside, eco-friendly products inside, and a satisfaction guarantee behind every pane.
Opportunity for Austin
Team volunteer days and real career paths for our technicians are part of the business plan, because a local company should give back to the neighborhoods whose windows it cleans.

When is the best time to schedule window cleaning in Austin?
Late spring and fall work best for most homes, right after the worst of the pollen and before the holidays. Homes under heavy oak canopy, near construction, or hit by sprinklers usually look best with quarterly cleanings.
WinterCedar season
Mountain cedar peaks from December through February. If the glass looks dusty yellow-green by February, it’s cedar, and cleaning in the middle of the peak buys only a few clear weeks.
SpringOak pollen
Live-oak pollen and tassels cover everything in March and April. Booking just after it settles gives the longest-lasting clean of the year and clear views for the outdoor season.
If other exterior work is on your list this season, book the windows last. Our guide to exterior cleaning order and timing in Austin explains why.
SummerSun & sprinklers
Long, hot days and daily irrigation are when mineral spots set. Many two-story homes book an exterior-only visit now and add interiors in the fall.
FallRagweed & holidays
Ragweed comes back in the fall, and families want clear glass before guests arrive. A fall visit pairs well with a spring one for a simple twice-a-year rhythm.
Before a listingReal estate
Schedule a week or two before listing photos so there’s room to reschedule if a storm rolls through. Clean glass and screens show up in every interior photo.
After constructionDust & overspray
Remodels and nearby builds leave fine dust, paint flecks and stucco splatter on glass. Let us know about any construction so we can plan the extra time. For a newly built home, see post-construction window cleaning.
If you’d rather not keep track, a maintenance plan puts bi-annual, quarterly or monthly visits on the calendar for you and takes 10% to 20% off every visit. Our post on how often to clean windows in Austin covers the trade-offs in more detail.
Which Austin homes need a different window-cleaning approach?
Older homes with original divided-light sashes, hillside homes with tall walls of glass, and homes with high interior glass each need their own method. All of it is reachable from the ground or the floor, up to three stories.
Original and divided-light windowsOlder homes
Older homes across Austin still have plenty of wavy original glass, wooden muntins and sashes that have been painted many times. Those get hand-detailed pane by pane with gentle pressure, never forced open if a sash is painted shut.
Tall glass on sloped lotsHillside homes
West Lake Hills and Rollingwood homes often step down a hillside, so a “two-story” window can be three stories above the ground on the downhill side. The water-fed pole reaches up to three stories from stable footing, and when a window needs a ladder, we set it on the property, never against the glass.
Big view windows and sliding doorsLakeway & Bee Cave
Large picture windows and multi-panel sliders face the view, and often the afternoon sun. That glass shows every spot, so it gets a purified-water rinse outside and a careful squeegee finish inside.
High interior glassAdd-on
Clerestory windows, stairwell glass, skylights, mirror walls and chandeliers can be added on request. Mention them when you request your quote so we bring the right reach.
One limit we’re upfront about: glass that can’t be reached from the ground within three stories, or that needs lift equipment, is quoted separately, and we don’t offer rope access or suspended platforms.
